“I will put my Spirit in you and you will live”
-Ezekiel 37:14
The story of Ezekiel seeing the dry bones rise up into an army has been one of my favorite stories for a number of years now. Occasionally, I’ll hear the Spirit whisper, “There’s life in these dry bones yet.” It’s such an amazing infusion of hope into wherever I am and whatever I’m going through at the time.
There are so many things in our lives that we might think are dead and lifeless, void of hope. But we serve a God that’s able to not only raise up those bones and put skin and ligaments back where they once were, but a God that will breathe His life-giving breath into those bones and equip them to fulfill their purpose.
What dry bones are in your life right now? Are you in need of hope in general? I have a feeling there just might be life in your dry bones yet!
“I know that you can do all things; no plan of yours can be thwarted.”
-Job 42:2
